Sardar Raja Colleges (SRC), Pioneer in higher Education has one goal and that is to make young Indians to Study, Work and live peacefully. Our mission is to teach and train the students in both academic and non academic matters through Hard work, Discipline and Perseverance.Sardar Raja College of Engineering - SRCE came into existence in the year 2000 by the side of Tenkasi-Tirunelveli Highway on a Sprawling Campus of more than 25 acres under the leadership of Er.A.Jesus Raja. After completing his BE in Mechanical Engg, he went on to do his Post Graduate in Business Management. The college has been progressing well under his dynamic leadership. The college started with three UG courses in engineering disciplines namely Mechanical Engg, Computer Science & Engg and Electronics & Communication Engg., and then Civil Engineering and Electrical & Electronics Engineering were started in the year 2002 and 2006 respectively. Three PG courses M.E - Applied Electronics, M.E - Computer Science & Engg and MCA were started in the year 2009. After that two PG courses M.E - Structural Engg and M.E - Power Systems were started in the year 2010.

Library : SRCE library is named as Abdul Kalam Library as a tribute to our former president of India Dr.A.P.J. Abdul Kalam.he library has a rich collection of around 40000 volumes of text books, reference books, national and international journals in all branches of Engineering, Science, Technology, Management and General Studies. Students can also access books to prepare for the competitive examinations like GATE, UPSC, SSC, TNPSC, TRB and Bank Examinations.
Transport : Transport department has well equipped vehicles with well experienced drivers who operates the transport of the institution. Students and Staff utilize the bus trips which connects major places in and around Tirunelveli.

 Hostel Facility
We have separate hostel for boys(St.Joseph and St.Antony Gents Hostel) and girls(Sophia Ladies Hostel). The hostel can accommodate 400 boys and 200 girls. Single room accommodation is given to the final year and PG students. They are also permitted to use their own computers in their own rooms.
