Rathinam Group brings education, Information Technology (IT) development and infrastructure development (IT Park / Housing Development) under the same roof.
It is situated in South Coimbatore on NH209 in a campus named Rathinam Tech Zone. From Pre.KG to Ph.D., various institutions housed in the campus.
ICICI Academy: ICICI Academy for skills is functioning inside the campus and it provides more than 5 courses at free of cost to the students.
ATM:Two ATM centers Axis Bank and City Union Bank are located in the college premises.
L&T: L&T and Rathinam College offers certificate courses in Electrician, Refrigerator mechanism and A/C mechanism course to the students at free of cost. The center is already completed more than 8 batches.
Rathinam Auditorium : Spacious fully air-conditioned auditorium is available with seating facility of 500. Projector facility is also available for live sessions and conferences.
Prayer Hall: Prayer changes things, it changes minds, and most of all it is our power to overcome those mountains that seem too tall to climb and too strong to breakdown. A place of worship is a specially designed structure or consecrated space where individuals or a group of people such as a congregation come to perform acts of devotion, veneration, or religious study. In order to fulfill theses need in our college we established a Vinayakar temple inside the college campus in the year 2016.
Rathinavani 90.8 CRS: Rathinavani 90.8 Community Radio Station is functioning inside the college premises. This community radio provide live experience for the visual communication students and also provides part time jobs for the students.
Transport Facility: Safe transport facility is available in and around Coimbatore. And also college buses are available from Udumalpet, Annamalai, Tirupur and covers the other outer areas of Coimbatore.
Swimming pool :Large swimming pool is available inside the premises. Separate plant is functioning to retain the swimming pool as hygiene one.
Classrooms: Classrooms are spacious equipped with centralized AC creates a relaxed environment to learn. Digital Projectors, audio systems are added advantages in few classrooms.
Labs: Being an industry embracing campus, we have high-end sophisticated labs. This will give working experience for students right while they are learning. From the core labs, science labs till communication labs, everything is housed inside with all advanced facilities.
Central Library: The Central digitalized library serves as the knowledge centre for around 2000 students in our campus. The library is not limiting itself to just academic knowledge but spreads its wings across all other co-curricular things. An air conditioned Central Library housed in a building, and dedicated departmental libraries, provide to students and staff a very conducive environment and opportunity for exploring a world of knowledge. Central Library of Rathinam College, Contains more than 10,000 book, more than 50 Journals, and more than 20 computer systems with high speed internet facility and Open access all journals.
Cafeteria: Restaurant with multiple food courts provides various cuisines of India. Cafeteria with Wi-Fi serves as a better spot for students to hang out during breaks. The food court is arranged with proper hygiene and cleanliness. There is 24X7 Wi-Fi of 45 mbps facility in the college
Hostel Facility
The boarding facility of Rathinam is more like a home away from home. Multiple hostels with wash centers and 24×7 security assure a safe and sound living. Campus is having huge security installations including CCTV cameras, gates at the entry of hostels, automatic boom barriers at main gate and dedicated team of professional security officers and personnel, deputed at all campus locations.
Campus has high speed internet facility. There are 24X7 Wi-Fi facilities in the college for the students and faculty members to avail internet connection at any place in the college and hostel. A separate 100 KVA generator is available to ensure uninterrupted power supply to the hostel and mess. There are 5 hostels of which 3 girls’ hostel and 2 boys’ hostel which include prayer hall, TV hall, gym hall, store, carom board, and other indoor games are provided for recreation.
