The Rajapalayam Rajus’ College, a philanthropic enterprise of the Rajus’ Community of Rajapalayam, was started on 22nd of June 1973. The College is situated at the present site of 52 acres on the northern side of the Mudangiar Road leading to Ayyanar Falls. The Palayapalayam Rajus’ Mahymai Fund has made a liberal contribution towards the purchase of the College Campus site and created endowment consisting of wet lands of about 45 acres and cash deposit to the total value of more than Rs. 7 lakhs.
