This college has been founded by the late Dr. A.R.Ponniah more than 40 years back. Hailing from the area, he believed that knowledge can only bridge the gap between the rural and the urban. With his vision and hard work, he was able to build and maintain a good standard in the college and establish it's reputation in whole of Tamil Nadu.
The great vision of Dr. Ponniah is being carried forward by his son Dr. Prabhu Ranjith (M.D., D.M) and the management team consisting of members from education, medical and engineering backgrounds.
