The college came into existence during the Academic year2005-2006 offering 9 Under-Graduate and 4 Post-Graduate Courses. The college is functioning with wide infrastructure at Manivizhundhan south on the salem-Cuddalore NH 68 Main Road near Thalaivasal. The college admits students of all castes and creed.
Library: The college has a common library with a good collection of books on varied subjects and magazines. Each UG & PG department has fully fledged library of its own. Members of college are exhorted to make the best use of the librzry.
Medical inspection: Every first year student is subjected to a thorough Medical Checkup as it is mandatory to appear for University Examination.
Transport: Fourty buses are made available to facilitate the staff and students. The buses are operated from Veeraganur, Poolambadi, Valapady, Thammampatti, Kallakurichi, Sangarapuram, Veppur, Kachirapalayam and Chinnasalem.
