Pachamuthu college of arts & science for women, Dharmapuri established in 2008 with 5 under graduate departments around 200 students with 15 faculty members, as an institution dedicated to women seeking higher learning at the graduates, postgraduates and research levels. It is affiliated to Periyar University. The college aims at training young women to impart quality and value based education to rural women and to empower them to become economically independent, self motivated and above all socially and politically conscious individuals committed to the task of building a strong nation. The college with good infrastructure gives priority to discipline. The college has stepped into the 7th year with 9 UG, 6 PG courses and 3 Research programmes.
