The founder, Late Thiru. Palaniswamy Gounder was a renowned personality with high social standing. His endeavor to serve the society with distinction is apparent in high standards achieved as President of the Sankari Town Panchayat and Chairman of the Sankari Panchayat Union. He was also the President of the Co-operative Urban Bank, Sankari. During his tenure, the bank’s performance was rated very high.
His cherished ideals became a reality when his sons established SIRI PSG Arts & Science College For Women in 2009.Siri PSG Arts and Science College for women set in a sprawling , sylvan 13.50 acres campus, provides a serene atmosphere far from the disturbing crowds of the city. This calm of peace pleasant atmosphere there by facilitating them to become leaders and agents of social change.
