The Govt Law college was established in year 2008 by Govt of Tamilnadu. The college was recognised by Bar council of india and affiliated by The TamilNadu Dr. Ambedkar Law University.The Main objective of college is to provide Effective and Quality Legal Education and affordable cost to the students hailling from rural areas. Our college offers 3 years B.L /L.L.B Regular degree course in the Co- Educational manner with the total strenth of 240 students and eleven Faculty members. We offer students a holistic education, creative learning, student centered pedagogy and opportunities for Research from the under graduate level, College regularly conducts fieldwork, seminars,workshops,court vist,Project work as a part of its curriculum.
At present our college running in a temporary building with four class rooms and the college will move to a new permanent building. The new campus that is coming up will provide a comfortable learning experience with state of the Art facilities, which include smart class rooms, a well-equipped library with a learning resource center (E Zone) and Play Ground.
