This college is located at Orathanadu, 25 km from Thanjavur on the way to Pattukottai. The total area of the campus is 206.96 acres.
Lecture halls and examination hall: A total of 5 lecture halls are available for the students with multimedia projectors and net connection for the students. A separate examination hall is available for conducting exams
Ambulatory Veterinary Clinic: Ambulatory Veterinary clinics were opened by the Honourable Minister for Housing and Urban Development Thiru.R.Vaithilingam at two villages Kannathangudi Melaiyur and Telungankudikadu for exposing the undergraduates in rural veterinary clinical services as well as providing treatment facilities in the nearby villages.
Computer centre: A computer centre has been established to provide internet services for the benefit of students and staff. Computers in various departments are connected with LAN. Students are given free hands on training in Computer Applications.
Library: The College Library was established from the inception of the college.The library has a 1591 collection of books (including general and competitive exam bosoks), 15 journals, 98 veterinary CD ROMs in the field of Veterinary Science, 17 magazines and newspapers (Tamil & English). The library implementing institutional repositories on intranet. The Library services include document lending, reference, Current Awareness Service, Selective Dissemination of Information, reprography, printing, scanning, Online Document Delivery Service (ODDS). The Library has an institutional base of 254 member (155 students and 99 staff).
Hostel Facility
Separate hostel facilities have been created for boys and girls. Students mess facility has been created in the hostel from the inception to provide healthy food at reasonable cost and RO drinking water.
