The Madha Arts and Science college was started in the year 2006 – 07. It is affiliated to University Of Madras and is approved by the Government of Tamilnadu to conduct U.G Courses such as B.Sc Biotechnology, B.Sc Microbiology, B.Sc Computer science, B.Sc Visual Communication and B.Com General. This college intends to impart quality education in the field of Arts and Science in an effective way.
This College is mainly to inculcate the state of the art of applied sciences computer sciences and media science where it basically needs in the scientific research and technological upliftment of our country.
Our college has an Internet connected modern computer lab with sufficient systems to enrich and update students’ knowledge.
Our college has fully furnished Biotechnology Lab with all modern Equipment.
Our College has an excellent library for the benefit of students and faculties. The Library was established in the academic year 2006 – 2007 with 1315 volumes. Our College library was followed by open access system not for closed access.
Bus facilities are available from Vadapalani, Porur, Kuntrathur, Pallavaram at nominal charges. Free bus service is also available from Kovur to College for all the first year students.
Hostel Facility
The Separate Boys & Girls hostel with all necessary infrastructure & facilities is situated within the campus. Excellent Hostel facilities are provided for the students coming from various part of the Nation. The ambience is so much of a home hence the hostel can be called a home away from home. Care is taken to provide nutritious and hygienic food to all.
