Sri Muthukumaran Arts and Science College was startes in the year 2001-2002 affiliated to University of Madras. Since its inception, the strength of the college has substantially increased to 1400 students. The college is a Co - Education college started with the aim of providing quality education to the down- trodden students living in rural areas and is striving hard to offer disciplined quality education to the students.
