Swamy Vivekananda Rural First Grade College was established in the year 2005-06, with B.Com and BBM course in 2009. It is a wing of Swamy Vivekananda Rural Education Society which was established in 1963. The institution has been working towards its Moto "INSPIRING EXCELLENCE" by taking every member of the staff and student into its fold.
LIBRARY and READING ROOM: The college library has books covering a wide range of subjects with internet facility. More than 5000 Books are available for referene and borrowing apart from 11 newspapers, 32 weeklies, monthlies and other imporatnt journals.
COMPUTER LAB: The primary goals of the computer labs and classrooms is to provide assistance to students that will enhance their chances of succeeding in technology-based classroom assignments and to provide access to equipment that will support the needs of instruction where we celebrate life-long learning.
BUSINESS LAB: The Business Lab is a drop-in center for students studying business classes.
STUDENT BANK: To provide a pratical knowledge on banking activities and promote the saving habits, the college facilitate a STUDENT BANK fully managing by student respresentatives under the supervision of college faculty members.
