UPDATE PHOTOS of Al-Ameen Arts, Science and Commerce College

The first college of the society. Al-Ameen Arts, Science & Commerce College was started in 1968 in the old campus in a rented building behind Government Medical College, Bangalore. The College is named as Al-Ameen which is one of the attributes of Prophet Mohammed (PBUH) which means “Trust-worthy”. The college had only 33 students on roll in the first year PUC course affiliated to Pre-University Board. In the very next year, the college started Degree courses affiliated to Bangalore University. It had co-education and was an aided institution based on secular ideals. The results went on scaling heights with one or two ranks in the degree examinations of Bangalore University in the initial years.

1 .	B.A. (Bachelor of Arts)
	Eligibility A Candidate who has passed the two years Pre-University examination of the Karnataka State with any combination of optional subjects or any other examination recognized as equivalent there to shall be eligible for admission to B.A degree course. The students admitted to B.A degree course shall offer at least two optional subjects enumerated under the Faculty of Arts.

4 .	M.A. English
	Eligibility Graduates who have secured 40% in the aggregate of all subjects and 50% marks in the cognate subject in the qualifiying University examinations are eligible to apply. Candidates with B.A.,B.Sc., or B.Com Degree are eligible to apply provided they have scored 55% in the Language concerned in the degree courses.

5 .	M.Com.
	Eligibility A Candidate who has passed the B.Com/B.B.M/BBS and B.B.A Degree examination of this University or of any other University recognized as equivalent thereto and has secured not less than 50% of the marks in the aggregate in all the Commerce subjects of Business Education in all the years (Examinations of the B.Com/B.B.M course) shall be eligible for admission to the course. In the case of SC/ST students and blind students the minimum percentage of marks required shall be less by 5%.
