The Mythri College of Education was established in the year 2005 and Mythri college of education is run under the SVVS Trust, Shikaripura. The college is located on the national highway 206 and is well connected to all the destinations of the state. The college is affiliated to kuvempu university, shivamogga and recognized by NCTE (National council for teacher education – A Statutory Body of the Government of India
Computer Lab: Computer lab with adequate number of systems with advanced software is available. A well trained instructor trains the students to handle the computers professionally. i.e. classes on computer basics, the student teacher can utilize the computer and other related facilities.
Class Room: The Spacious well – lit and fully ventilated classrooms provided an ideal atmosphere for learning activities.
Library: A well furnished library with extensive collection of books with latest volumes of encyclopedia, reference books, news papers, magazines and periodicals to activate reading habits among students and widen their horizon of knowledge.
Laboratories: The college has separate labs for psychology. Educational Technology and Science. They have all the essential instruments, equipments needed for the demonstrations and experiments. Various laboratories have been established in our institution to help the trainees in their related areas.
Transportation: The students are privileged to have transportation facilities. Which enable them to reach hostel to college and to students residence. The faculty have also pick up and drop facilities between the college and their residence.
Hostel Facility
The hostel block built in international style stands as a distinctive structure in the whole campus. Hostel facilities with all the provisions are available for both men and women. It provides accommodation for 100 boys and 320 girls.
