Government First Grade College at T.Narasipura was established on 27-05-2007 with the good-will, guidance and direction of Dr.H.C.Mahadevappa, Hon‘ble Minister of P.W.D,Govt. of Karnataka along with the support of other local leaders and educationists. The town place of T.Narasipura is a prosperous land of active agriculturists and businessmen and is situated on the banks of Kaveri, Kapila and Spatika rivers. The college is a real blessing to the rural and agricultural families and also to the SC/ST population of this border area as it aims to give quality education in BA, B.Com, BBA and B.Sc courses. This college is considered as a boon in this area because the poor, backward and needy ones had to travel long distances to get a degree and had to bear large expenses.
