Government First Grade College,Arsikere which, came into being in the year 2006 under the Department of Collegiate Education, Government of Karnataka and affiliated to University of Mysore with Arts, Science, Management and Commerce curriculum. Presently this college holds more than 434 students and offers Co-Education under Graduate Degree courses viz, B.A., B.Sc., B.Com. And B.B.M. The College is popular due to its effective teaching and learning processes. The Campus with 10 acres of land is situated 3 km away from the town very close to B H Road. The goal of the college is to inculcate quality in every phase of learning the vision of the college is integrated development Apart from curricular programmes the college has been providing computer application, spoken English, Environments studies& Constitution of India.
Library :The College boosts of well stocked and furnished Library and provides the facility of open access to the students. It has 14500 number of books including several reference books. It has a special book bank provision for SC and ST students. Previous question paper banks, General books, English and Kannada Newspapers, Weekly, Fortnightly and monthly magazines are available.
Laboratory: The College has functional Computer, Physics and Chemistry labs to facilitate the teaching of these subjects to the respective students.
