N.D.R.K. First Grade College, Hassan was started during the year 1977-78 with the object of providing better educational opportunities to the students in and around Hassan City under the able and efficient leadership of late Smt. Narayani D R Karigowda and Late Sri D R Karigowda. The college which came into existence in a humble way with just 25 students, is at present imparting education to more than 1200 students every year in the Degree Courses of Arts, Commerce, Business Management and Science.
Library :The collection also includes Encyclopedias, Journals, Periodicals and Audio / Visual Materials. The college library has over 4000 Books on different aspects of education. Both open access and borrowing systems are provided to encourage reading habits in the trainees. The college subscribes over ten journals on education.
Computer Lab : To cater to this requirement of the students, we have a well equipped computer lab providing both Basic and Advanced Computer Education.
Laboratory Facility :The institution have completely equipped laboratories for all the subjects with enough equipments, instruments, glassware's and chemicals is made available to help the students of this college.
