JSS Institute of Education is a constituent college of JSS Mahavidyapeetha, offering B.Ed. Course, located at Suttur Srikshetra in Nanjangud Taluk, Mysuru District. The College was established in the year 2004-05. The JSSMVP school building in Suttur is spread across a sprawling 60 acres of land, equipped with best infrastructure. It is located in a serene atmosphere, situated on the banks of River Kapila. The College premises is completely free from pollution and surrounded by greenery. Suttur is located 25 km away from Mysuru city. Nanjanagud, the taluk headquarters is also called as Kashi of the South India and it is about 15 km away from Suttur.
Classrooms: College has adequate and spacious classrooms with good ventilation.
Laboratories: The College has Educational Technology Lab, Language Lab, Science Lab, Educational Psychology Lab, Curriculum Lab, etc. The College has ICT Resource Centre with 75 computers and access to Internet.
Library: The College has a spacious library and reading room with a massive collection of over 33,000 books catering to the needs of education, perspectives, pedagogy, school text books, fiction, etc., besides subscription to various educational journals, magazines and newspapers.
Multi-purpose Playground: The College has provision for various indoor and outdoor sports activities. It has a volleyball court, basketball court, football, badminton, cricket, multi gym, athletic track, etc. for the benefit of students.
Multi-purpose Hall: The College has a multi-purpose hall, which is used to conduct morning assembly, seminars, conferences, workshops, etc., with a seating capacity of 350 students.
