Institute of Basic and Applied Sciences is one of the indispensable Institute of the CMJ University.It imparts excellent quality education in the area of Applied sciences i.e. Physics,Chemistry,Mathematics,Bio-technology,Microbiology, Nenotechnology, Bio-information and Geo-Sciences for the future technocrats of all streams.Institute of Basic and Applied Sciences aim to provide strong foundation in the Applied Sciences.The Institute also strives to instill the scientific temper and the spirit of inquiry in students.It encourages the students to understand and therefore apply the physical laws to the development of their field of study.
The College is having a multi-storied spacious building at its permanent campus at Jorabat to meet the needs for all instructional-cum-administrative activities. The building houses lecture rooms, tutorial rooms, workshop, laboratories, library-cum-reading room, drawing hall, examination hall, computer center, seminar hall, boys’ common room, girls’ common room & administrative offices as per the norms and standards of the AICTE.
Hostel Facility
Separate hostel facilities for boys and girls are provided within the campus with all the basic civic amenities and security. A senior teacher of the college remains in-charge of the respective hostel for its proper supervision and control.
