Chatra College Chatra came into existence on 1st July, 1961 under the illustrious leadership of Dr. Keshri Nandan Sahay to facilitate the students of rural and backward area gain higher education.
The College has well equipped library which caters to the needs of all students, research scholars and faculty members. The library functions on a system for faculty members and students by which they can have their access easily. It is kept open in all working days. The library provides a good reading room and is stuffed with latest textbooks, journals and magazines.
