The dreams of its bounding fathers took shape in 2004 in the form of Sri Sai Aditya Institute Of Science And Technology which is now renamed as "Aditya College Of Engineering and Technology (ACET)" under the aegis of Sarojini Educational Society, Kakinada with the approval of AICTE and affiliated to JNTUK. It is approved by AICTE, recognized by Govt. of Andhra Pradesh, permanently affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Kakinada (JNTUK) and is accredited by National Assessment And Accreditation Council (NAAC) with ‘B’ Grade. The college also received UGC recognition under Sections 2(f) of the UGC Act.
