Nursing college is housed in a separate building, has been taking in 60 BSc nursing students per year, the first batch having completed its course.All India Institute of Medical Sciences was established as an institution of national importance by an Act of Parliament with the object to develop medical workforce to demonstrate a high standard of Medical Education and sofisticated health care at an affordable cost in India.
The medical college is a fully functional central air conditioned building with wifi and has the various teaching departments along with their teaching and research laboratories.
Central Library: The Institute has a Central Library spanned over 2 floors. The lower floor is for the books and computer section, while the top floor houses the reading room. More than 5000 medical and nursing books are available in the library. Wi-Fi internet facility is available. Computer lab has high speed internet.
