The College of Fisheries was established during the year 1981 and it was shifted to the campus at Rangailunda on20thMay,1983. The College was inaugurated by the Hon'ble Chief Minister, Orissa on 27-11-82. OTHER SOURCES OF FUNDING:
The addition to the above grant, the ICAR provides financial assistance through it's scheme of supporting State Agril. University (SAUs). Funds are received towards purchase of equipments for the laboratories, development of instructional farms and purchase of chemicals and glasswares for practical classes, preparation of teaching aids, study tour of students and attending conference/seminars for the teachers of the college.
