Daita Madhusudana Sastry Sri Venkateswara Hindu College of Engineering, Machilipatnam is one of the oldest self financed institutions in the state of Andhra Pradesh to impart high quality of Technical Education in the Engineering discipline.
The college is affiliated to JNTUK and is located in the historic town of Machilipatnam which is also the headquarters of Krishna District. The college was established and founded during the year 1980-81 by The Hindu High & Branch Schools Society (Estd. In 1856) under the guidance of late Sri Daita Madhusudana Sastry, a prominent advocate and educationist. The college is privately managed and owes its existence to the untiring efforts of the members of the Society.
Library:Our Library stands in a sprawling 1,400 Sq. Mts.The library houses almost 60,000 volumes and provides access to some of the most reputed national and international journals and conference proceedings, both print and online and it can easily accommodate more than 150 students at a time.Users can access the library catalog digitally through Open Public Access Catalog, avail free Wi-Fi services, utilize any of the 20 desktops or their personal computers to access various online learning services like DELNET, NPTEL, JNTU(K) CoEeRD, ASCE, ASME and NDL.
Gymnasium is available for the fitness of students.
Canteen: A variety of hygienic food & snack items which includes Cakes, Fresh Juices, Meals, Ice Creams, etc are served at a nominal rate. It is mainly used by the students and staff. Separate partitions for students and staff are available.
college buses are provided by the college for comfortable and easy transport. Those who intend to utilize the college bus services need to register their names in the Transport Department and pay the requisite amount.
