With an objective to create technically skillful professionals and to extend the legacy of success in industry to the arena of education, KALLAM GROUP OF INDUSTRIES chairman Sri KALLAM HARANADHA REDDY under the aegis of KALLAM ACADEMY OF EDUCATIONAL SOCIETY , established the "KALLAM HARANADHAREDDY INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY" in 2010 at chowdavaram. The college provides a lush green and peaceful environment which is located at about 10 kms away from guntur towards chilakaluripet on NH-5.
Central Computing Facility : It is proposed to build centralized computer centre with latest hardware specifications, server and LAN / WAN facility to produce competent engineers having higher technical proficiency, professional skills appreciation of societal responsibility. It will be in a Centralized Air Conditioned area. This center will be constantly upgraded with the state-of-the-art systems.
Central Workshop: There will be a Central workshop with 900.Sq.m. area provided with infrastructure as required for curriculum and with qualitative improvement facilities for imparting the practical skills to the students.
Central Instrumentation Facility : The Institute will provide central instrumentation facility with electronics, mechanical background to train students in accordance with curriculum requirement as stipulated by the university from time to time.
Stationary Stores : All stationary items are made available in the stores at reasonable rates, fixed by the college management. It also provides light refreshment like packed snack items, cakes, veg. puff, beverages etc to the students and staff of the college.
Library: The college has a computerized library well equipped with a large collection of books under the categories of academics, reference and general. All the books are bar-coded and indexed using the latest library management software. The library also subscribes to both national and international magazines, journals and periodicals in addition to leading national dailies.
Transport: Our college is providing transport facility to our students only from Guntur to College and back covering all points in Guntur town.
Canteen: College has spacious canteen facility in the college premises and is run by college management. A variety of south indian food and snack items are provided to the students and staff of the college at highly subsidized rates with highest quality.
Hostel Facility
The College provides separate hostel facility for boys and girls. Boys hostel is located in the college campus and girls hostel is arranged in guntur city. Strict discipline is followed in the hostels.
