Eligibility
Only 12th Science stream students with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects, who have passed board exams, are eligible to appear for this course. Minimum aggregate marks requirement is 45% (in PCM subjects) and 50% in English (10th / 12th)

Candidates should be physically fit for sea service under standard norms of DGS, with eyesight 6/9 in both the eyes, and with no colour blindness.

Eligibility
Only 12th Science stream students with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects, who have successfully cleared the board examinations are eligible to apply for this course. Aggregate marks requirement is 60% in PCM together and 50% in English (10th / 12th)
Candidate are required to satisfy the age limit criteria. They should be between 17-25 years of age when the course starts.
Candidates should be physically fir for sea service under standard norms, with eyesight 6/12 eyes and 6/9 in better eye, 6/18 in other eye, and with no colour blindness.

On completion of the program, successful candidates are provided Class 4 Marine Engineer Officer Certificate of Competency. This certificate is awarded by D.G. Shipping, Ministry of Shipping, Govt. Of India

Eligibility
10+2 passed (any stream) or equivalent from a recognized board is the minimum qualification required. Minimum aggregate marks criteria (in board exam) may exist in cases of reputed institutes (usually around 45-55% marks in board exam)

Other Details
BBA Shipping is a management education course that focuses on the shipping sector. The course covers general management and business administration lessons. Apart from that, the course also covers aspects of shipping, such as liner trade, port operations and charting, customs procedure, transportation and distribution management.

10+2 passed (with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics and English subjects) from a recognized board or equivalent. Minimum aggregate marks in PCM subjects must not be less than 60%. Marks in English subject in 10th and 12th board exams should not be less than 50%. Candidate should be physically and medically fit as per Merchant Shipping Rules. Candidate should not be color blind. He/she should have 6/6 vision without the assistance of any visual aids.

After completion of the course, candidates may join Merchant Navy ships as Deck or Engine crew. Along with sea service, they may also rise through ranks, depending on their performance.

Only Mechanical Engineering or Naval Architecture Graduates are eligible to apply for this program. Aspirants should also have scored minimum 50% marks in the final year.
