The SVR Engineering College was started in 2007 and is situated on the National Highway NH-18 seven kilometers away from Nandyal town in Kurnool District of Andhra Pradesh. It is located on a sprawling 13 acres of land surrounded by green fields. The College is affiliated to JNTUA, Ananthapuramu and is approved by AICTE, New Delhi.
Library: The college has a well established Central Library, which caters to the need of the undergraduate, post graduate and diploma students, research scholars and the faculty. It occupies a floor area of 500 Square meters with 30,514 volumes of books with 2,840 titles. It subscribes to nearly 75 National and International Journals in various disciplines of Science, Humanities, Management and Engineering. Services such as lending of books and journals, reading room, reprographics facilities and bibliographic reference and information are rendered by the library. A number of CDs, audio and videocassettes are also available. The students have access to 25 PCs to access the Digital Library. The Library has a membership in DELNET. Online video courses from NPTEL are also available.
Transport:The College has a huge fleet of buses covering all the areas in and around Nandyal and suburbs. College Bus facility to daily commuters (students, staff and faculty) is available from Koilkuntla, Allagadda, Banaganapalle, Panyam. This facility can be extended to other distant places like Nandikotkuru, Atmakuru based upon the demand.
Hostel Facility
Institution has in-campus hostel for girls. All rooms in the hostel are provided with all basic amenities/modern facilities for comfortable boarding. Centralized recreation facilities and a vegetarian mess are also provided. Mess Committee concept with student representation is also introduced.
