Mahaveer Degree College commenced in 2014 by Mahaveer Education Society. The Society, under the stewardship of the Chairman Sri Sudarshan Reddy garu and ably supported by the Secretary Sri Surender Reddy garu, has more than a decade’s experience in managing the Mahaveer Institute of Science and Technology, which has joined the elite list of highly sought after institutions in the State. Having successfully transformed Mahaveer Institute of Science and Technology as a centre of excellence with several undergraduate and post graduate courses, the Management decided to establish a new engineering college. The establishment of Mahaveer Degree College during the Academic Year 2014-15 heralded a bold step towards youth's Empowerment in the State Capital Hyderabad. The college is located within the limits of Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation, well connected with APSRTC buses and metro rail service, and yet away from the noise and pollution of the metropolis. The college also runs its own buses from several points in the twin cities. The college is affiliated to the Osmania University, Hyderabad whose students have made their presence felt throughout the Globe by innovation and hard work.

Library: Mahaveer Degree College understood this importance very early and established a repository of books, periodicals, journals, magazines and newspapers. In order to inculcate reading habit among the students, faculty meet students in the library engaging them in conversations, conducting book reviews and encouraging review of literature for projects.
Cafeteria: canteens & kiosks providing meals, refreshments, fruits & snacks are conveniently located close to all academic blocks. The Institute has a very good canteen where snacks, vegetarian fast food, hot and cold drinks, ice cream, etc. are available to cater to the needs of students and staff serving the palate of every kind.

We have an ambulance facility 24x7 in case of an emergency.
College regularly conducts free health camps.
Transport Facility: For the students, faculty and employees who commute from various suburbs, MIST has its own dedicated fleet of buses plying to and fro in the twin cities. The Services are made available at a very nominal fee for students and free facility for the faculty members.
