Sa Vidya Ya Vimukta Ye keeping in view of the above statement, Shri Madhavrao Patil Mahavidyalaya, Murum was established on 19 Sep 1991. The goal was “Education for Empowerment.” The vision and mission of the college is thus envisaged on local needs. The college was assessed by NAAC Peer Team in 2004 and accredited with B grade.
Library:The institution has got a rich library with necessary computer facility. It is fully atomized with 7,000 Sq. Mts. of carpet area and more than 22,483 titles. The library is accessible to the readers from 10 am to 5 pm. All library work is computerized.
Sports Facility: This college provides excellent playground facilities for both Outdoor and Indoor Games.
Language Lab: Language lab makes use of computer assisted learning and audiovisual aids. The lab is equipped with computers, appropriate software, fax, printer and laptop. Broadband internet connection is available.free of cost to students in the e-learning centre.
Virtual Lab/E-learning Centre:It is open from 8.30 am to 5.00 pm. There is no entry fee. On an average, 100 students visit it daily.
Teachers can access internet in their department through LAN. The college has paid two years.broadband internet connection subscription.
Computer Lab: The College has well equipped Computer lab with internet connectivity. The computers have become integral parts of teaching learning activity.
Medical Facility: The institution also provides medical facilities. There is a panel of doctors who visit the college on
call to attend in case of emergency.The college has been very much environment-conscious.

The Girl's Hostel Building is in the college campus. It is constructed with UGC funds under special scheme. The capacity is 120 students
