B.S.S Mahila College Dhanbad has a glorious heritage of continuous excellence in the field of Women's education.In a span of less than sixty years the College has established itself as one of the leading Women's College in Jharkhand. College had a modest beginning in the year 1995 as a joint by the social workers.
The class rooms are well equipped with audio-visual facilities, lights, fans desks & chairs and smart board. The College has spacious auditorium with seating a capacity of 500 wellequipped with proper audio visual system to organize cultural events,seminars etc.
Library: The library is located on the first floor of the academic building. It is functioning with expert assistance of experienced Library staff. It has rich collection of over 60000 books. Over the years many reputed books, periodicals, journal have been added to the Library with the consultation of respective heads of different departments. Every year new books are added to the collection of the Library with grant from UGC and internal fund of the college. Total Collection The collection of Library consists of text books, manuals, back volumes National & international journals.
