ME (Mandar Education) Society's Rajaram Shinde Institute of Management

Konkan is a most picturesque yet most backward region of coastal Maharashtra.The youth of Konkan region was deprived of technical education for years. It was Mr. Rajaram Shinde's concern and vision to enable this youth with some kind of technical education.He bravely ventured and started an institute in 1983,which is today catering to about 2500 students,giving technical education. Mandar Education Society campus includes the institutes of Management,Engineering, Polytechnic, B.Ed,Pharmacy and many more.

Library : The library has developed an excellent collection of books, journals and non-book material in science, engineering, technology, humanities and management.
CANTEENS :Three canteens in the campus, including 1 exclusively for girl students, all provide an atmosphere for the students to take a refreshing break in between classes.
MESS :From this year onwards, the society has equipped its mess with state-of-the-art facilities capable of catering a buffet system of meals at a monthly charge of Rs 1800/- to students. This includes morning tea & breakfast, an evening tea and two full meals at lunch and dinner time - each menu includes one non-vegetarian dish as well as dessert to round off the hearty meal.
SOLAR-HEATED WATER: As a step towards making an environment-friendly campus that is less dependent on the conventional power supply, we have provided facilities of solar heating to supply hot water to all hostel bathrooms.
GENERATORS:To overcome the challenges of frequent load-shedding we have a set of generators that provide power back-up facility to the Institutes during college hours and to the Hostels in the evenings so that the day-to-day activities of students are not interrupted.
INTERNET:10 Mbps dedicated leased line. Fully wi-fi enabled campus including hostels.
GYMKHANA:a modern gymkhana with a well-equipped gymnasium helps students keep physically fit through their busy academic life and inculcates a healthy fitness culture, all at nominal charges.
