Our College, Shri Shahaji Chh. Mahavidyalaya was started in 1971 by Shri Shahu Chhatrapati Shikshan Sanstha, earlier known as Victoria Maratha Boarding. It is our pride to serve in the college established by the boarding with great heritage. Started with a meager strength of 174 students in Arts and Commerce faculties providing undergraduate programmes, the college has grown significantly and reached to the strength of 3500+ in 2014 with undergraduate course in B. A, B.Com, BCA, and Postgraduate programme in Commerce (M.Com.). The college has recently received the approval of state government and Shivaji University to start Science faculty.
Library: Named after the great Maratha Warrior Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaja, ours is one of the famous and largest library in the University area with almost 65,000 books and a good number research journals and e-journals.It has a separate study with the capacity of 110 students.
