Taking inspiration from Dr. Ambedkar our honorable Chairman, Dr. Madhukarrao Wasnik (Ex. MLC) came forward and established People’s Welfare Society. This society established its first college, named PWS College of Arts and Commerce, on Kamptee Road, Nagpur in 1967. This is one of the biggest and well known institutions for marginalized sections in North Nagpur.
