NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF FIRE AND SAFETY (NIFS) is currently offering a range of diploma and post-graduate diploma courses in Fire Engineering, Construction Safety, Industrial Safety. These Courses are taught under technical collaboration with the prestigious ANNAMALAI UNIVERSITY- Tamil Nadu, and approved by UGC, AICTE, D.E.B Joint Committee and HRD Govt. of India, New Delhi.While the UGC mandates that students for any of these diploma and PG diploma courses must put in a maximum of 40 hours of classroom study spread over a period of 3 months, NIFS is offering students the benefit of completing these courses with upto 130 hours of classroom study in 30-40 consecutive days. Students are required to undertake a mandatory 7 days Industrial Tour as part of their practical training at Visakhapatnam.

Apart from the above NIFS has its own Library which provides its students all the referral materials for development of their knowledge and completion of the Course. NIFS also provides highly qualified and well experienced Faculty who have already spent Many Years in the field of FIRE and SAFETY in various Industries to teach its students.
