Capital Engineering College is established in 2010 . Capital Engineering College is the result of the vision of Badri Narayan Sahoo who laid the foundation . CEC is a part of Bidya Bharati Educational Trust's endeavour to provide quality education. The college has started with an aim to provide quality technical education to a wider domain of illustrious students of the state of Orissa in particular and the nation in general. The Institute is located at Mahatapala near Khurda collector-ate on Kolkata-Chennai NH-5. It is nearer to Bhubaneswar- the capital city of Odisha and hence, easily accessible from Inter-state Bus Stop, Railway Station and Bhubaneswar International Air-port.
Medical Facilities: The college has a Health Centre which provides medical facilities to meet the needs of the students and staff pertaining to minor ailments. This dispensary has been constructed to take care not only of students’ health in college campus but it also looks after the medicals problems of the nearby villagers. Ambulance facility is available.
Transport : There are many buses which help students in travelingbetween the college and the city. Students are picked up from different corners of the city based on their class timings.
Hostel Facility
There are separate hostels for both boys and girls. The Boys' Hostel in the campus can accommodate 350 students and has all necessary facilities. All hostels have well equipped fooding facilities and special care is taken of the hygiene of the hostels.
