CIPET Centre in the state of Uttar Pradesh was established at Lucknow in the year 1986-87. It is situated in "Amausi Industrial Area" near to Airport and is spread in an area of 6.5 acres with all the necessary infrastructural facilities.
LABORATORIES: All CIPET laboratories are well equipped with the state of the art machineries and equipments that enable the faculty to teach the students the latest trends and technology besides providing an excellent opportunity to the students to get hands on practical training on the industrial machines.
CAD/CAM LAB: The Design and CAD/CAM departments of CIPET are facilitated with the latest systems and software for imparting effective training to the students on product and moulding design.
TESTING LAB: The state of the art CIPET Testing Laboratory, at Lucknow, equipped with most modern machineries and equipments, is considered as one of the best testing labs in Asia. CIPET imparts hands on practical training to students on testing and quality control assignments viz plastics materials/ products/ composites testing/inspection
PROCESSING LAB: The Plastics processing department of CIPET is well equipped with both the conventional processing machines as well as modern micro processor controlled processing machines and provides a broad range of practical training to students.
TOOL ROOM: The Tool Room, at Lucknow, is well equipped with both Imported CNC machineries as well as the conventional machines and imparts practical training to students on manufacturing of moulds and manufacturing of standard mould bases.
CALIBRATION: CIPET, Lucknow Calibration Laboratory has NABL accreditation. The Calibration Laboratory has extensive & unique calibration facilities to cater to the needs of ISO, BIS and NABL Certified Laboratories & Organizations. CIPET Calibration centre has high accuracy master calibration equipments having direct traceability to NPL/International Laboratories in mechanical, thermal & electro-technical fields, such as dead weight tester, dry block calibrator, multi product calibrator, standard proving ring, etc..
LIBRARY:CIPET has a spacious and well equipped modern library with RFID facility with a rich collection of about 10000 volumes of books, periodicals, reports and reference material for the benefit of the students to enhance their knowledge. Digital Library helps the students to have access to the digital information resources.
VIDEO CONFERENCE:Video Conferencing facility has been provided at CIPET, Lucknow to enable participation and exchange of information during scientific/ technical conferences/seminars / invited lectures /faculty meet etc.
CANTEEN /CAFETERIA
A centralized cafeteria with ample seating space has been functioning at CIPET, Lucknow catering to the food needs of the students providing variety of nutritious delicious and snacks / Tea/ Coffee.
Hostel Facility
In order to accommodate outstation students, an exclusive hostel for boys has been functioning at CIPET, Lucknow.
