HIT Central Library:A well furnished and fully digitalized computerized library, with a rich collection of books and periodicals, caters to the needs of the students and faculty members. The library has a collection over 3,000 titles and 25,000 volumes. The library provides information services like current awareness service, selective dissemination of information service, reference service, bibliographic service etc.
HIT Internet Facilities:HIT has its own Hi-Tech computer lab facilities with more than 300 Computers. 24 X 7 lease line internet facility
HIT Computing Facilities: The facilities include 350 Intel dual Core computers, running on operating systems, namely Windows XP, Windows 7, Unix and Linux and housed in six large air conditioned laboratories. Through LAN, Linux and Window NT servers connect all the computers. Internet connectivity through a 4 MBPS leased line under the aegis of BSNL. The students and faculty members obtain materials for study and information. Latest versions of Oracle 11g, MS Office, MATLAB, AUTOCAD, Xilinx, Visual Paradigm, Visual Studio 2010, Turbo C++ and Java are available for use. Many more software’s are in the pipeline.
HIT Canteen & Cafeteria:HIT is equipped with a modern canteen that is operated by the management. It provides the students and the faculty with nutritious and hygienic vegetarian food. Snacks and soft drinks are also available.
Hostel Facility
HIT has its 400 seated boy’s hostel and 200 seated girl’s hostel on-campus.
