College of Home Science has gracefully completed 35 years of its existence, established in the year 1981 under the Orissa University of Agriculture and Technology. It is located in the heart of the temple city Bhubaneswar, the state capital of Odisha. The College is housed in spacious building, unsprawling campus and situated at about 5 Kms away from railway station and at equal distance from Biju Pattnaik International Airport.
The college is having one administrative building with director’s room, 8 faculty rooms, one library, one seminar-cum- placement hall, and one Examination Hall. For conducting practical of UG and PG students, there are 8 nos. of laboratories and for theory classes 4 classrooms in the college. The department of Family Resource Management has got one experiential learning laboratory. One Lab. Nursery School is running under the department of Human development and family studies. One computer Laboratory with internet facilities is also available for both UG and PG students.
