CMR College of Pharmacy sponsored by the M.G.R. Educational Society and was established in the year 2005 with the objectives of providing quality education in the field of Pharmacy to the students of rural and urban areas. The college offers B. Pharm., Pharm. D., and M. Pharm in the specializations of Pharmaceutics and Pharmacology. The college accorded the approval from the All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi and affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad. It has also received the approval from the Pharmacy Council of India u/s 12 of the Pharmacy Act 1948.
The college has vast building, spacious laboratories and well ventilated and furnished classrooms. High quality equipment for laboratories is also procured very ambitiously. The college maintains a very good library with a large collection of books and subscribes a good number of standard journals (National and International). The staff members of the college are well qualified and sufficiently experienced. The college established a very good computer lab. The lab is provided with sufficient no. of computers, so that any student can work on his own computer and need not share or wait for his turn. All the systems are provided with internet facility.
