B. A. College of Engineering & Technology (BACET) was established in the year 2007 to fulfill the country’s large technical manpower requirement, in tandem with the main focus of MHRD, Government of India. BACET is a unit of Bihar Association, Jamshedpur and the institute is affiliated to Kolhan University, Chaibasa, Jharkhand. It is approved by AICTE, New Delhi and is recognized by the Department of Science & Technology, Government of Jharkhand.
Central Library: The Central Library of BACET is a repository of knowledge. It is well-furnished and spacious with two big reading halls. It occupies two adjacent floors consisting of approximately 12000 books, magazines and research journals. There is an e-library as well to get the benefit of e-journals and video lectures.
Central Work Shop: Our state-of-the-art workshop spread over 10000 sq. ft. area and comprises of Foundry, Carpentry, Black Smithy, Welding, Sheet Metal Working, Milling Machine, Lathe, Shaper, Power Hacksaw, and Drilling Machine sections.
Transportation: To make the journey easier and provide every opportunity to the student fraternity to pursue higher studies, transport has been arranged from the city to the college and back, for the staff and students.
Group InsuranceL: All Staff, faculty members and students of the college ar covered under Group Insurance Scheme.
Hostel Facility
There are two in-campus hostel buildings for boys and the girls’ hostel is in the city. The rooms are good, sanitized and equipped with all basic amenities.
