Damodar Valley teachers’ training college is recognized by NCTE Bhubaneshwar, L.No. – ERC/7 – 158.15.1.35/2013/19844 for B.Ed course and managed by ANTYODAYA EDUCATIONAL TRUST registered under societies Act. 21 , 1860. The college has got recognition from ERC – NCTE under new regulation, 2014 for conducting B.Ed programme of two years duration with an annual intake of 100 (One hundred) for two basic units of 50 students each from the academic session 2015 – 2016 vide L.No. ERC/NCTE/ERC APP1180/B.Ed (Revised order)/ 2015/32245 dated 27.05.2015. The College has been already granted affiliation from the Vinoba Bhave University, Hazaribag, Jharkhand.
Class Room: The college has fully air- conditioned, specious & architecturally designed class rooms. It also has glossy black boards & flannel boards, furnished with adequate modern furniture
Library Cum Reading Room: Well equipped library has been set up with the excellent collection of books including variety of encyclopedia and reference books, educative & informative leading journals and magazines, CD ROM. It is being continuously expanded
Health and Physical resource center: The students can avail of indoor games like chess, Carom board & outdoor games like badminton, volley ball, cricket etc.
Multipurpose hall: The college has hi-tech multipurpose hall. There is adequate arrangement of seating capacity of more than 200 persons to organize the meeting/events/seminar etc.
