The Interdisciplinary School provides a common platform to all the Departments that come under the Humanities and Social Sciences.The I.D.S. is located at the first floor of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Bhavan in the backside wing housing the Departments of Defense Studies and Economics also.
The I.D.S. has been revived recently and possesses very small infrastructure. We, therefore, cannot offer big facilities to the scholars at this stage. But we are developing a Library (presently containing more than 550 books worth s.2,70,000/-) and Resource-centre that will be of great help to the scholars conducting research in interdisciplinary areas. We have concentrated on documentation that will facilitate research in future.
