B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) | Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed)

1 .	B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education)
	Eligibility (a) Candidate with at least fifty percent mark either in the bachelor’s degree and/or in the master’s degree in Sciences/Social Science/Humanity bachelor of Engineering or Technology with specialization in Science and Mathematics with 55% marks or any other qualification equivalent there to, are eligible for admission to the programme. (b) The reservation and relaxation for SC/ST/OBC PWD and other categories shall be as per the rules the Central Government / State Government, Whichever is applicable.
	Duration 2 Years
	Admission Procedure Admission shall be made on merit on the basis of the marks obtained in gthe qualifying examination and/or in the entrance examination or any other selection process as per the policy of the State and Government/U.T. Administration and the University.

2 .	Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed)
	Eligibility Candidate with at least 50% marks in the higher secondary (+2) or its equivalent examination are eligible for admission. The reservation and relaxation in marks for SC/ST/OBC/PWD and other categories shall be as per the rules of the central government / State government, whichever is applicable.

	Other Details D.EL.ED CAREERS AND JOBS:On completing the D.El.Ed , candidates can apply in Private schools, Government schools, nursery, Daycare centres, online educator, Coaching centres and Private tuition classes. They can take up jobs as a junior teacher, content writer and/or reviewer librarian, record keeper, education counsellor. Candidates who have completed the D.El.Ed can further pursue the Bachelor of Education ( B.Ed) course and undertake a full-time teaching job.
