Ananda Chandra Training College, Jalpaiguri, started its tradition of inclusiveness and excellence in the field of teacher education from the establishment year of the college, i.e. 1958 A.D. vide its Memo No. 7538 – Edn/9P-196/58 of Higher Education Department, Govt. Of West Bengal. Earlier, the affiliation of the college was under the University of Calcutta and at present the University of North Bengal is the affiliating authority of this institution.
