Pithubar Girls’ Degree College is a rural based college and it has been contributing higher education to the rural, academically, socially and economically challenged student of Khowang and adjoining tea garden students.

College Library :
The college maintains a well stocked library of more than 12000 books. It is open to bona fide students of all classes. Important text books of all subjects are made available to the students. The reading room is attached to the library. The library also supplies a number of daily news papers, journals and reference books on various subjects.
