Swahid Peoli Phukan (S.P.P.) College emerged as the milestone in the field of higher education in the Namti area under the auspices of Sri Durgadhar Bora, the founder Principal and a group of dedicated persons in 1970. The College has a history of 45 years of dedicated service towards creating awareness in the neighbourhood and developing infrastructure and facilities for imparting education in the greater Namti area.
Library: A well-equipped computerized library is housed in the first floor of the college Administrative Building. The library is enriched with text books, reference books on different discipline, a series of Encyclopedia, popular series, projector with studies, Research Project Reports, Dissertations etc. The college also subscribes important journals and newspapers of national and international repute. A well accommodative reading room is attached with the library and the students can have easy access to it during the college hours.
Scholarship Facility
There is State Government Scholarship for SC, ST, OBC, MOBC, Minority and Tea garden students. Moreover, meritorious students may also avail Scholarships awarded by the State Government, Jindal Foundation, UGC for economically backward students.
