Marangi mahabidyalaya is only the premier institution of higher education at Marangi Mouza of Golaghat district of Assam. The college has an ideal location linked by AH-1 with an ecologically flavoured zone. It is 18 km fromthe district headquarter of golaghat district, 4km from NRL, Asia's biggest refinery and Asia's one of the oldest Buddha temple named Kaliyani Buddha temple is 12 km away from the college. The college has completed 26 glorious years offering higher education aiming at upliftment of the socio- economical condition of the rural people of the district. In january 2013 the college was brought under provincialisation by the govt. of assam.
Sports Facilities : The College has one playground with nominal facilities in football, Volleyball, Badminton etc.
College Canteen : The College has a well-equipped temporary Canteen which is run by private party under the control of the college authority.
Library :The library at present has a stock of about 6020 books. Necessary megazines, Journals, News paper are also available in the library.
Scholarship Facility
The College provides all sorts of the State and Central Govt. scholarships such as National
Merit, State merit, Differently able, SC/ST, TGL, OBC/MOBC to deserving students. The student can
apply for scholarship through online system.
