Sreenivas Basudev Deorah College, popularly referred to as S.B.Deorah College, nestles in an ideal location in the arterial G.S.Road of Guwahati. Formerly named, Ulubari College, this institution started functioning in the premises of the neighbouring Ulubari High School in the evening on 9th September 1984 with 75 students in its roll for the higher secondary programme.
Library: The College has a well managed, well stocked, and fully computerized central library having more than 14000 collections of text and reference books.
Canteen:The Canteen of the College has been serving the students with healthy snacks.
Internet and Photocopy Facility: Unlimited Internet access and photocopy facility is available for the students in the College Library.
Auditorium: The College has a specious auditorium with a permanent stage for performing various academic and cultural activities.
Smart Classroom: The College has a smart classroom with modern equipments to make the teaching-learning process more interactive.
Folklore Section: A folklore section cum Folklore Museum had been set up in 2004 to make the students and the society aware about the threat to and importance of the age-old traditions, customs, and cultural heritages of Assam and of the N.E.Region. The museum is also open for the public.
Hostel Facility
The S.B.Deorah College Women’s Hostel is situated within the college campus which is under the supervision of Hostel Supervision Committee.
