National Post Graduate College was established in the year 1974 by the then Chief-minister of Uttar Pradesh, Late Chandra Bhanu Gupta. The college is situated close to the banks of river Gomti in the heart of the city has lush green campus and is surrounded by a number of major institutions - Academic and Administrative.
College Canteen: There is a canteen in the college campus. It caters to the nutritional needs of students and teachers in most hygienic conditioned on subsidized rates.
Medical Facilities: All the departments of the college have been provided with first-aid kits to meet any emergency. Medical centres are situated quite close to the college where patients from the college are attended on priority bases.
Hostel Facility
To provide accommodation to both boys and girls, the college is providing accommodation facility. There is a hostel for the girls with a capacity of 155 girls and there is also hostel for the boys with a capacity of 100 boys.
