Dr. M C Saxena Institute of Education seeks to advance and educate the teachers of tomorrow. The Institute offers aspiring teachers two degrees- a Bachelors of Education (B.Ed) degree and a Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) or B.T.C. The Bachelors of Education Programme, is a professional course that prepares teachers for upper primary or middle level (classes V to VIII), secondary (classes IX to X) and senior secondary levels (classes XI to XII).
While the Diploma in Elementary Education aims to prepare teachers for the elementary stages of education including how to fulfil the basic learning needs of all children in an inclusive school environment along with bridging social and gender gaps with the active participation of the community. The programme is designed to produce teachers that shape children during their formative years i.e., classes I to VII/VIII.
LESSON PLAN TEACHING PROGRAMME: College conducts lesson plan teaching programme for the B.Ed. students so that they get a good exposure to teaching. The management has contacted all the good schools of the city for these teaching programmes and practical training for all the students. It is conducted regularly in these schools.
SCIENCE LABORATORY: The lab provides Almost all kind of learning experiences through experiments and teaching aids to excel skills of teaching science in the school.
LANGUAGE LAB: It is equipped with a Lingua phone popular language learning software which enables the students to enable the students to improve their communication skills.
ET LABORATORY: Education training lab is a valuable resource for helping students and teachers to learn the new technologies.
MULTIPURPOSE HALL: To cater diverse needs of teacher’s training the college maintains a multipurpose hall in the premises itself.
